The nine letter word with double ‘M’s




Committed!?XXX
Sheesh! Why can’t I just stop hearing this double M word!
 I hit 23 and I was told, Reshma your 23 and its high time you get yourself a guy!

10-15 years- NO boys! Sheesh Boys? NO way!!
15-18 years- You know what! She’s got a boy friend it seems, and its that guy whom we so going around with that girl! Ah she’s a bad girl!
18-20 years- Hey that guy! He loves me blush blush! But I’m not interested! The Good –girl version of it!(Next day she is seen with the same guy)
20- Say next 4 years- “Ain’t you committed yet??? You’re single!!!?? Oh my god! How sad! Its ok don’t feel bad, you’ll find someone soon!”
Well I get the question as well as an answer for it from the same person instantaneously, with their sympathetic reactions!
I dint know guys were on sale… How easy that would have been I guess! Really if I find one I will change my status update on face book from single to committed! Why do people care!??
  The older generation seem to have blended well with the current ones! 
I hear them :
Woman 1: Hey that female’s daughter, I saw her roaming around with that guy the other day ! From past 3 years they know each other ! And he owns a factory and has a car of his own, so rich! Very talented girl! She found such a right guy!(Even the girl wouldn’t know so many details of that guy I guess!)
Woman 2: All this generation people, same story! Kids nowadays!! Phew!!
Woman 3: My daughter she’s 24 already, no guys yet (sad face), I wish she finds someone who is rich like that! (Really??!)

      Well 23 I am, I go out on double dates with my friends, except that my date will be missing! I go with a frame of mind to just have a good talk and loaf around every corner with my so called friends (Along with them, its their girlfriends/boyfriends), That’s how apparently the number of people in my social group increased, its like u have one friend and with it comes one more , like a sale! Buy one get one free!! So the number increases gradually.(Every week my mom  questions me as to  who are all those people whom I hang out with?I’ve never seen them before! She assumes that, I pick  some random people on road!?) And with my new increased social group I tend to forget my friends and become much closer with their better halves. Significantly the attention on my   ‘First friends’ decreases. That’s when it will occur to my friends that Im still SINGLE! And they tag me “NOT COMMITTED” and all their suggestions advices of all the guys in their neighborhood, class , office , school mates, childhood friends and all their lost friends who were extinct all these years come alive! How many ever come alive it’s evident that I can’t change my tag to COMMITTED unless I bump into my so called ONE! My friends complain that I’m too choosy and have to stop being so, as Im getting old (As they say it! This OLD part hurts real bad!I’m just 23!)  My ONE seems to have just taken a wrong turn, he’s on his way, so I would suggest all my COMMITTED friends to stop suggesting me and advising me that I should start to date their friends, just because they want their better halves to concentrate on them!

    May be I am a threat ta the committed ones!Tht's not my problem is it!? It's theirs! SO let they solve it!!:D ANd i done have HOPES!! I wont either!! SO shoooooo away!!

    lol people will always say the opposite. If u are committed they will say u are 'NOT SINGLE' and if you are single they will tell that you are 'NOT COMMITTED'! so never mind them, enjoy ur life :)

    No matter how long you've been single, it's not worth it if you take someone just to change your relationship status. Secondly, it's not fair to the other person.

    Besides, I'm surprised that even girls face this problem. Curious!

The Celebrations of independence is  still alive in my street!! Thanks to my neighborhood kids! We complain about Today's kids,but today I saw it live! A Blue and Grey Monday!

So the alarm goes off at 6:30 am  on Monday morning, I wake up to the morning sun, facing the window, ignore the cloudy days and the daylight saving which takes its time to kick in .I so wish I could just cuddle up under my blanket and shut that window and go back to sleep.
